For whatever reason ladies love them some dark skinned men but a dark skinned woman has a hard time getting or keeping their shine. When you think about it there are really no dark skinned female r & b singers with staying power. So this post is my ode to the pretty brown girls. Stop acting so surprised...black is beautiful.

My Summer Sounds
This summer I have fell in love with so many songs. My taste in music is a bit strange to some but I like just about every genre of music so there should be a lil somethin' for everybody.
My half- full-half-empty slow jam for the summer is Van Hunt's Down Here In Hell (With You). This song is by no means new, I remember hearing it a while ago, but I love this song. Unfortunately tho must of us dont have this mind set...we quit when things start getting a little difficult. I think the songs concept is greatness. How many of us know what it feels like to love someone so much that you would prefer a rough day with them to a great day with somebody else.
Another summer favorite of mine is Black Buddafly's Late Night Sweet Love. I found this song on youtube. I must admit I wasnt one of those love at first listen songs but after hearing it a couple times I started to love it; now I keep it on repeat. This one is a little naughty but so are a lot of songs on my playlist. haha.The version posted below is only a snippet.
My last summer jam for this post is gonna be Trey Songz' Wonder Woman. The beat is crazy and so is the girl in the videos body. haha...it makes u wanna work out extra hard :) But anywho here is the video.

My First Time
This is my first I'd Rather Think About It post. I never thought I would blog, but I always have a lot on my mind, I love love love to write, and this summer I have turned into a gossip blog fiend so I'm feeling inspired :) The latest blog I started reading is Solange's Hadley Street Journal. She is cool. You guys should read it if you have the chance. I would say she says what others think...that makes her pretty dope by my standards. Welp I am gonna work on adding more post I hope ya'll enjoy the blog.
